Carrageenan INS 407, INS 401, INS 477, INS 466


The recommended dosage of Can D is 0.2 % – 0.4 % of the total mix. For example 20 – 40 grams per 10 litre batch.

Directions for use

  • Step 1: Mix Can D with sugar before addition to ice candy mix
  • Step 2: The ice candy mix should be at a temperature of 55° C or above before adding Can D
  • Step 3: If you are adding any fruit pulp add it after the total dissolution of Can D
  • Step 4: Heat the solution till 80° C and stop the flame
  • Note: Need to maintain Bricks from 26 to 28 for best result
